They ask that the Grid be turned on (View Grid). They then ask for this to be expanded so that it is a perfect square eliminating from the center just touching the upper and lower boundary (using ALT+SHIFT from center).
When I do this, the points all have coordinates CLOSE to:
(-1,-1) (-1,1) (1,-1) (1,1)
but instead it is:
(-.9877,-.9877) (-.9877,.9877) (.9877,-.9877) (.9877,.9877)
(i.e., replace '1' with '.9877').
This is the first time I'm using grid. Is there a way to tweek this? Like make it 'snap to integer'... or something like that?
For best results, the tutorial requires these be exactly integers (since it is doing rotations, ans trigonometry tends to compound errors due to floating point inaccuracies). So one must manually enter them anyway...
Is there a away to change the resolution of the grid (spacing between grid lines), possibly horz and vert independently? or change the grid line colors (in case hard to see on current background)?
Not a big deal, just asking...
UPDATE: Oh wait. it just occurred to me that that .9877 is a PERCENTAGE of some sort, so it has to be between 0.0 and 1.0 (floating point). So 'snap to integer' would not be very useful...
