Exporting animation problem

Post by tempemonkey »

All things were going good exporting my animations until recently. I start my exporting on frame 336 (I exported the frames before that with no problems separately) and it ends on frame 3864. While it is being exported it looks normal on the preview screen but when it is finished it is split into four different windows for about twenty seconds. The audio starts where it should but the video does not match it (I cant tell if the video is from earlier or later).... After about 30 seconds the audio and video go back to how it should be but its 30 seconds into the exported piece.

Strangely, I tried exporting from frame 336 to frame 500 and it was perfect.

Also notice that when it transitions from abnormal to normal the screen kind of like goes into a test pattern and gets all fuzzy.... Strange.

Any advice?

Again, here is a short video....

I have had this happen to me once when I over loaded my CPU. I managed to fix it with Virtualdub. Its freeware if you do not already have it.

Import the AVI into VirtualDub and hopefully you will get these popups.
Then save it as a different name.

It worked for me when I got the split screen like you have.

I tried exporting half the file and VLC player crashes when its played while Realplayer just shows a black screen..... I went from bad to worse... I tried saving it in MP4 as well a AVI..... Does anyone think it may be a codec problem or hardware problem?

I don't want to put a new operating system on my computer just for this glitch.... I guess that I will try it though....

Strange how I was able to export other files up till this one.

Well, but the error lies definitely within your system installation, which provides all the codecs and all video frameworks. AS (and other programs) just use these system resources.

I dont know if its the installation because I tried exporting from Debut and Pro... Neither worked.

I will try re-installing and exporting from Pro tomorrow because the entire process takes about four hours...

I'm so close to finishing my very first animation...... Arrgh!!!

I tried this with my latest export (that realplayer and VLC would not play) and it generated about four errors.... It did not play it back in the proper order either......

This is really strange.

I found this thread I made earlier this year. Does this look like the split screen you are encountering?
