Export to flash (swf) outside issues

Hi All

OK, I've gone back thru all earlier postings on the subject of exporting to flash and now have a handle on most issues. We're animating for a web site banner and have a letter box work area. One element is needed to scroll thru frame but when I play the swf back I can see the letter box but also the element from the point that I created the layer, outside of the box. I appreciate that I can't use masks etc. but only want to see objects when they're within the work area. Any help gratefully appreciated

You definitely need Flash to optimize any SWF for usage in a website. AS doesn't have the controls for that. Only in Flash you will be able to embed links inside the SWF - and that's the main part of any banner.

You could try Kool Moves -- might give you enough functionality (eg, buttons) without having to shell out big bucks...
