1) The timing will change when you change your frame rate. 24 for film, 30 for tv. With AS your are not going to cut render times by shorter frame rates. So your thinking is in blocks of seconds. If I want to do this move in one second its 24 frames, or 30 if the out put is tv. Or maybe 12 for flash that going to the web. If you want to have something take 3 seconds its 72 frames at 24 frames a second. Why will you use all these frame rates? My answer is to do some research, along with why there are different render sizes.

Of course, that should be 29.97 fps for NTSC (only United States, Canada, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan and some other countries) the majority of the world uses 25 fps for television, PAL and SECAM (France). It is more or less tied to the frequency of the power outlet in these countries (roughly 60 Hz in the case of NTSC, and roughly 50 Hz in the other cases). However, if you want to create only one version, I think 30 fps is the best choice, because upscaling from 25 fps to 30 fps leads to more quality loss than the other way around.dueyftw wrote:1) The timing will change when you change your frame rate. 24 for film, 30 for tv.
