Inserting Frames

Post by DK »

Is there a script that can insert extra frames into specific areas of the timeline?

Using Animation -> Rescale Keyframes will do that.

I tried that but it throws all the other animation out for some reason?

I've tested with:

- Rescale entire document checked on.
Start Frame = a (enter the number you wish)
Last Keyframe = b (it is the last keyframe in the animation. Left it as it is given)
New Start Frame = a + S
New Last Frame = b + S

It would insert S frames starting at 'a'

If still having troubles please post the files before and after and tell me how many frames want to insert and where.

REMEMBER TO SAVE THE FILE BEFORE!!!!! THIS ACTION CANNOT BE UNDONE.

That time it worked. Thanks Genete. I have been having trouble with this file. I think there is something corrupted in it somewhere. I'll be glad to render it out and leave it behind :)
