"Timmy's Christmas" and its Making Of in Flash

A quite interesting post to read because it covers every aspect of planning and executing a cartoon. Notice how this cartoon doesn't look like it's been made in Flash - it could've been done on paper or in any other 2D software, also the workflow follows the traditional approach. Although his approach is not the optimal way to work, it gives a really helpful outline.

Thanks for that post Slowtiger. Very interesting to see how they approached the project. I thought the animation, though enjoyable, was a little stiff in parts.

Animation was excellent, but the sound effects IMHO were somewhat overused, too loud and annoying.

Nice!

Would you believe it, I've met Sean Kreiner. Had a nice chat about animation with him at Comic Con in San Diego in 2006. And I came all the way from South Africa! What are the chances!

Would love to see the animation, but my connection's a bit slow. Awesome to read about the process though.
