Cueing Quicktime in Image Layer

Post by jwlane »

Please point me to the post I couldn't find, it has to be here.

I need a quicktime movie (used in an image layer) to start on a much later frame than 1. Where is the place to enter a different "in" point?

Thanks anyone.

As far as I know, you just need to select the frame you want it to start on, and then create your image layer. Or you can click on the visibility channel on frame 1 (this adds a keyframe to hide the layer), and then click it again where you want it to start ( this adds a keyframe to show the layer). This effectively moves the start time of the image layer movie.

That's the trick. A movie won't start playing until it is visible.
