XSI Particles

Post by jwlane »

I'm a fan of Tekkonkinkreet in general, and really appreciate its production values. Check out this http://www.softimage.com/community/cust ... fault.aspx

Scroll down and watch the screen capture of crows created with Sofimage (XSI) particles. You can do some of this with ASP "rendered" particles applied to bones.

Agent White calling Smith Micro - you should really get behind Anime Studio Pro so it can make you lots of silver monies [sic].

I had never heard of Tekkonkinkreet before I saw your post, but I clicked on your link and became intrigued. I ended up buying the DVD on the strength of the trailer, and I am very pleased I did. It's a wonderful film, with an amazing look all of its own. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
