Not sure if this is a new bug in 5.6 or just an old one from 5.5.
You have a vectored rectangle layer containing a image texture fill. Its the sign on a billboard. You think if should look cool if its 45 degrees perspective. Using the ctrl+T to make the perspective doesn't work as image textures are not UV mapped to the place (nice feature for 5.7, Mike).
Do instead you rotate the vector 45 degrees on the y axis: You get the cool perspective angle you want. Perfect, time to render.
But when it renders, you discover the image texture is turned degrees*2 inside the fill area! 10 degrees of Y perspective on the plan, 20 degrees on the image plane. the closed you get to 90, the closes the image is 180 flipped.
The error is consistent on Rotate X and Y, and on Shear X and Y.
