New Anime Studio user

Hello,

I just got Anime Studio this week and have been lurking around the forums checking out some of the great creations and discussion. Thought it was time to drop a line and say hello to everyone here. I love to sketch in my free time, although free time has been quite scarce for several years. Definitely love anime and hope to learn enough to start animating some of my own work and bringing a few of these crazy ideas to life.

All of the tutorials were really a breeze. So far I love the program and will most likely move up to Pro once I'm confident the app can do everything (or most) of what I need.

Would be nice to meet some of the members so please introduce yourself if you have a sec! If things continue at this pace with AS you may not soon be rid of me. :)

Hi, I'm 23 and I'm chilean. I just finished to study journalism.
I love drawing and animate for me was always a hobby. But when I had to work I discovered that I was a better animator than a journalist. So since this day I work as animator.
A friend showed me Moho (now AS) four years ago and I immediately loved it. Then I started to read some principles of animation (here in Chile there is no much people who could teach you, you can't study animation really, if you go to some institute you will learn Flash or Maya, but not how to move things). Two years ago I got a classroom at university to make my own AS classes, e-frontier gave me several licenses and I could teach some basics to several students.
I'm pretty far to be a real animator. I have won some prices here, but when I watch some wonderful stuff here in the forum I see that there is too much to learn. It's intimidating but inspires me to continue playing. You can see my stuff here.
Become a member of this forum is one of the best decisions I have taken. People is very nice and you are always learning (and helping when it's possible). Welcome.

Hi selgin,

Great to meet you and thanks for saying hi! Sounds like you have years of experience with AS then - and you teach it? That's great. :)

PS. Love your animations. 8)
