Hi
I was wondering what is the best format for exporting so that the movie can be put on DVD and watched on a television?
I've done some quick tests and i can't figure it out, when i do lip syncing in quicktime the framerate is too slow and the voices no longer sync up anymore and when i tried the cinepak AVI codec the voices were synced by adjusting the framerate but the quality of images was reduced when they were rotated, it was only when they were completely still that the quality was good. I'm confused, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Just anything can be put on a DVD - but not every DVD authoring software accepts every input format. Have a look into the specs of your DVD authoring program, it should give you a list of accepted or even recommended codecs. You will choose either PAL or NTSC (with the appropriate frame rate), and then some good codec. This file will be translated by the DVD authoring software into something which is suitable for DVD, so it's a good idea to choose some lossless codec like "animation". Don't worry about playback of that file: it will only be read during authoring, the file on DVD is something new.
