importing photoshop png files

Post by sonicfilms »

I've created a multi-layered image in photoshop, exported it using the "export layers to amime studio" script. But when I try to import it as a switch layer into anime studio the layers are greyed out and will not import. Am I doing something wrong?[/i]

from an earlier Mikdog post - I use a script from PS that comes with AS in the 'Extra Files' directory called 'Export layers to Anime Studio Pro' or something. This saves all the layers as .PNGs and creates an Anime Studio document for me. (Remember to add the .anme extension when it asks you to create the file!) Awesome thing is, it preserves the positions of all the layers. Nice. So there's no fiddly importing images and rescaling into AS. Saves me a lot of time.

Will this work with Photoshop Elements too.
Playing around with 3D is fun, but dropping a dimension gets things done!

No, Elements doesn't have scripts. This script is for PS7 or higher, I believe.
