image textures not available

im on os 10.5.5 using anime studio pro 5.5 ..
when i want to fill with image texture, i cannot open any file (jpg, png, gif..); theyre greyed out.

i have read older topics describing the same problem, in 2006 ...

anybody know something?

I think this is a mac problem?

Upgrade to 5.6 (free) and it should fix the problem.
