enable outline disabled in style pallete

Post by rogermate »

I can't figure out why one of my shapes has the Enable Outline checkbox disabled.

Any ideas?

i think it hasn't shape border.
maybe because you erase it (by clicking the border with eliminate shape), or maybe someway you chose paint it with no border.

anyway, just eliminate the shape and paint it again.

I had similar problems when I first started using AS. Most of the time it happened because I was not on frame ) in the timeline when I drew the object. If this is the case in your drawing, you'll see a keyframe in the timeline for the outline color. Set your timeline at that keyframe and see if your line appears. If so, you can copy the keyframe and paste at frame 0.

If you use the "delete shape" button in the tools palette (the one that looks like an "X" in the fill tools) your points will remain just as you created them.
