Onion Skins?????

Onion Skins?????

Hey people

I'm currently trying to learn frame by frame animation, But.. I cant find Onion skins it's not on my time line and I have no idead where else to bring it up.

Please help

Look closely at the top of your timeline. You see one ruler with numbers - that's the frame count. Beneath this there's a second ruler, less dark. Click one of its lines. It will turn into a grey rectangle: that's an onion-skinned frame now. If you go to a different frame now, you'll see the outlines of vector shapes of the onion-skinned frame.

also, if you click on the onion skins tab, you can click 'relative frames' and it will follow your playhead - i.e. if you put your onion skin frame(s) 1 frame before the playhead it will always be 1 frame before rather than sticking to its original place... both are useful

but you might find AS a bit of a pain for FBF animation :P

Hey thanks for the reply.

The things is its just not there. There is nothing to click, there is no seccond timeline. When I look at tutorials on the net I can see other peoples but mine doesnt look the same. Is it a feature for Anime Studio Pro only?
