Ok, I have been having a trouble with my sound file(again) in Audacity. Here is my problem: I put together the sound file with silence at the beginning, which I do so the sound doesn't start until the specific frame I want it to, but instead when I import the sound file into Anime Studio 5, it starts at the BEGINNING!
I can't figure this out. I add the silence at the beginning, but it is like anime studio just skips it and begins the sound. How do I make anime studio 5 register the silence? Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Bradhammer

Not a problem with AS. It must be how you are creating the silence in Audacity. AS has no idea what "silence" is. A wav is just a sound file format. There is no way for AS to know what is not sound and what is.
Make sure you are loading the NEW sound file you created. I've noticed that Audacity does not like overwriting a file that is opened in it. Often I have saved or exported a changed file only to find that none of the changes were actually saved. For instance I open a wav file in Audacity. Edit it. Then export and try to save this file with the same name as the one I opened... it won't do it.
Best bet is to export from Audacity to a new file with a different name so you can be sure you import the correct file in AS. I usually put a number at the end of the file name.

To bring a sound file in at the frame you want , just move your dark shaded loop section in the time line so it starts where you want the sound to start.
Then import the sound, you can then change the darker loop section again without changing the sound position. You can repeat this process as often as you like.
