The Haloween Preview
It was a cold and windy day; the skies were filled with grey. We had almost arrived at the city Amursek; I wonder how big it is. I thought this part of Russia was full of lush forests, but all I could see was wastelands, like some result of a big war. “Alright, it’s just over this mountain!” Aaron bellowed through the car. There were 5 of us all together, me (Jay), Aaron, Liam, Sarah and Abbie. We are all university students, sent here for a week to learn about the Russian culture and its environment. Everyone’s excited, we don’t know what to except. We are just driving up the mountain now; we almost reach the top, when Aaron decides to stop for a snack break. We all get out of the car, to stretch our legs and explore the mountain. While the others are around looking at the mountain, I decide to go abit ahead to see what this town looks like. I am abit concerned I haven’t seen much people, since we got into this part of the county. Just below the top of the mountain there is a sign, it is very old, dirty and broken. It says “Welcome to Amursek, Population 3000” but someone has but a line of black paint across it, and under it put “0”. I wonder why would someone put that, but as I climb up to the top of the mountain and peer down my eyes widen in horror and then I can see why,

Project Ultimatum is in the not so distant future
5 kids get kidnapped and experimented on by a underground military government. The military cover up thier dissapearances and keep the kids locked away in the labs. They aquired strange and unsual powers, the military saw usefulness in this. They make chips and put them into thier brains, to control them. They are trained to be a elite force, they are trained to use thier powers well. However after a plane crash the chips are destroyed and they are being hunted by the government, and these kids now young adults do not understand why they are being hunted and they are unaware of thier powers, for now.

A good writer? I see. Only when writing, uh.. someplace else then or for money? You wouldn't waste your talent and mad skills on a web forum. Why use proper sentence structure, grammer, punctuation or a spell checker here right?
Everyone likes to think they are a good writer. If you are, then you have to prove it beyond just saying it is true... write... write... write. Just please don't post everything here. This is the most unlikely place to pick up work as a writer. Do you have Anime Studio? Will you be hiring animators to work on your stories? That is the purpose of the "Animation Jobs" forum.
If you want to share your writing and get feed back you should sign up on a writer's forum. I am sure there are lots of those.

Can I give you some advice?
You can take it or leave it, OK?
I've worked professionally as a scriptwriter for animation, in a junior
role which I scored by shopping my student film around to producers,
so I have some idea what I'm talking about.
First of all, carpet-bombing the forum with bad grammer and spelling
can damage your reputation. And your aim is to establish a solid
reputation as a professional writer. So stop doing that.
Second, write and then shoot something. Cut out animation with
Anime Studio, or shoot it with a digital stills camera, use a photocopier
if you have to, it doesn't matter.
Third, show the finished short film to people. That is one way you might be able to get work.
Throw it up on Youtube or something. If it's well written, you might be
able to impress someone enough for them to put you on some sort of junior role.
Or to collaborate on something for free. Whatever.
It's good to be proactive about shopping your stuff around, but not until
you have something to show. (Don't spam people senseless with your
rough idea outlines, anyone can dream that stuff up in the shower. You
need to demonstrate commitment by seeing something through to the
end, and then getting that out there.)
It seems like you love writing. That's great. Write, learn about writing,
get some books on scriptwriting, and write your heart out. That's the
only way to get any good at it.
But dude, don't bombard people with scripts they haven't asked to see.
It's the quickest way I can think of getting people to actively avoid you
(second only to asking them to work for free.)
Good luck.
Stop posting, start writing.

Dude...

"alot" is not a word. You aren't winning any fans.
If someone hired you to "write" something they would have to hire someone else to fix your mistakes... of which... there would be alot, apparently.

I don't claim to be a writer. I don't claim to be an expert in grammar or spelling or sentence structure. I've been criticized for using "ellipses" too much when posting or being too wordy. I do however use the advanced and infinite resources of the internet and the computer to make every effort to SPELL correctly and not use words that don't exist (unless I make up those words myself of course.
) EVEN here on a web forum where spelling doesn't count.
I HATE people too lazy to type capital letters in the first word of a sentence, or who don't bother to put a space after a period, or who take shortcuts when writing. And those people aren't even looking for work as a writer.
Imagine the impression you give claiming to be a "good writer" and you can't even write a simple paragraph on a web forum without mistakes?
Good grief.

p.s. You got me so riled up I typed my name twice.
I'm not even going to fix it.

One more thing I have to say...
Many publishers will THROW OUT manuscripts with typos. They won't even read it if they come across errors. This is IMPORTANT. Spelling and punctuation errors will annoy people. Imagine someone reading gazillions of manuscripts or screen plays. The first filter is the basic skills of writing.
During the printing of one of Stephen Kings books he found a typo. He demanded that the publisher REPRINT the entire run of books.

I love grammatic (more in a philosophical way than esthetically), but I'm chilean so can't really judge it. anyway, if you want a job, you must get it by yourself. you can't say, hey, ask me about what I have done, you must show it. In animation I go with my portfolio to somewhere and say, well, this videos is what I can do.
You are what you have done.
and considering what you have done here in the forum, I never would call you back. If you want money doing something that requires talent, you must to have this talent.

Hi Luke welcome to the forum,
I can't knock you for offering your skills to collaborate, you never know, someone might be keen for a script to animate.
Might I suggest a great place for really positive feedback on writing .
http://celtx.com/
http://pc.celtx.com/
You can download the awesome free app for scriptwriting and collaboration.
Madrobot and I use Celtx to collaborate on projects sometimes but we only talk animation on this forum.
There is even a forum just like this with dozens of writers who will be honest and fair about scripts that you can publish and share, if your script is favoured you can get project of the week and get prizes like I did
)
http://pc.celtx.com/project/7esgSezmrp5B
You can also develop storyboards and other art or clips for your scripts and keep them in the project. All of this can be automatically genetrated to a website for public private or shared viewing with one click of the mouse.
Give it a shot Luked90, BTW do you have and use anime studio, cos this forum is really about that.
Good luck with it.

HeyVern, you know we all have great respect for you, but come on give this kid a break.
BTW punctuation isn't really what writing is all about, even though I'm the first to mock unusual grammar.
"I believe that children ARE our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone's shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I'll live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
"They can't take away my dignity"
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me "
That last bit was Mad's idea
