Rigging the ship (using face turn technique)

Post by GraphicAnime »

Hello,

I'm getting used to Anime Studio Pro and it's bone system. I wanted to use a trick that would make the ship look like it's turning. I was trying to use the same boning technique from the Head Turn tutorial from Simthmicro site. Even though I followed the directions, the bone size button remains inactive, even though I set the size constraints.

Here is the actual image: http://s204.photobucket.com/albums/bb31 ... _final.jpg

Here is the screen shot of how I set the bones. What I wanted to do is as the ship turns towards it's right the wing, on the furthers side, slightly disappears. http://s204.photobucket.com/albums/bb31 ... as_pro.jpg :?:

Hi GraphicAnime....If you are using the scale rotate method from my tutorial I may be able to help you. Can you send me the file to look at?
PM me if you would like.

Cheers

Binding Points to Bone Issues

Post by GraphicAnime »

Hi,

I'm currently having a problem with binding the points to the points.
Originally I had the points binded to the selected bones. I wanted to reset the binding one bone to the whole layer. Then I selected Flexi- Bind Layer. Now when I try to re- assign the points to the individual bones again, the points do not move with the bones when I animate it.

When I select the bone again I see that the points are assigned, but it appears to be not working when I try to animate it.

Thanks in advance
