DO YOU WANT TO BE A BIG STAR?

Here´s what you have to do, chose a category and submit your 3 to 15-minute short film to BigStar.TV´s monthly short film contests and win u$s 1000!!!

The categories include:

Animation Short, Submit by January 23, 2009
Action Short, Submit by February 14, 2009
Comedy Short, Submit by March 20, 2009
Student Film Short, Submit by March 31, 2009
Sports Short, Submit by April 15, 2009

sounds promising worth a try right? i dug up some old files i was using to make an animation with. comedy all the way! :D

You know what I find annoying? These contests lump "animation" into one category. Why not enter an animation into the "Action" category? Or documentary? Or comedy? There is a new documentary out now that is animated. Why is "animation" different from any other genre?

Or maybe I'm just pissed off that I can't possibly make the animated category deadline. ;)

The 3 minute minim is a killer. That's going to eliminate a lot of people.

Yeah, why the hell is the animation deadline the nearest? Of all those, animation is the most time consuming to make. That's why I initially ignored this post. Obviously the contest runners either expect you to submit a previously finished work, or don't know beans about animation.
