Reanimation Project: Animation Test

Post by AnimeNub »

Here's the first project I've worked on with Anime Studio. For practice, I am attempting to reanimate scenes from some of my favorite anime, but with smoother and more thoughtful animation.

I let the project simmer a bit while transitioning to college, but now I've had time to work on it a bit.

Here's something I sketched out real quick almost a year ago. The character is from the anime Airmaster.

Not much and everything looks very unnatural. That was when I still wasn't too sure about what was good practice and what was good workflow management.

Just today, I redid the shapes and the hair for the character and did a rough animation test. Still problems though.

Yeah, no one wants to wait around for a download. Try Mediafire.

Sorry bout that. I usually use megaupload and don't mind the wait.

Reuploaded to mediafire.

Hopefully, I'll get more work on this on the weekend.

Very good start. It is a bit disconcerting to be so zoomed in though.
