That question is just far too broad. You've read the tutorials, but did you work through them? Following along in an actual file always helps. For the most part, you should be able to follow the applicable tutorials as you build your character.

Just need to ask more specific questions.

Wes isn't saying we won't help here, but you need to work through ALL the tutorials of AS before you can ask a question because the answer we give won't make any sense to you until you do.
For example, your problem might simply be that you need to offset the bones -- do you know what this means? Or how to do it? Or perhaps you just need to parent them -- same thing.
We're not going to provide a tutorial to you on how to use AS because you already have that --it's online and it's easy to use, and in the end you'll know what you need to know anyway (which is to say you can't use AS until you know that stuff, so at some point you really HAVE to learn it and that's the best way).
This is the one of the most helpful, informative and friendly forums I've been on, and Wes is a standup guy, but none of us are going to be able to do anything for you until you learn the basics. After that -- the sky is the limit.
So -- take a day or two to do this (it won't take more than five or six hours at the most) and then if you still have a problem with that file by all means come back here and I promise we'll figure it out... together.

There's another psychological effect I think that occurs at least for me.
When I first felt confident using "Moho" and AS there was this initial rush of learning and then wanting to help out. Gradually as time goes on I got jaded, tired. After awhile you feel as if you type the same answers over and over and realize these are in the tutorials and help and yet no one even bothers to try.
I clicked on this topic when it was first posted. I got very sleepy and tired and just clicked off in the hopes someone "younger" and more enthusiastic will answer it.
I use to try and hunt down the answers on the forum that have already been posted only to realize... anyone can do that as well.
It has become easier for me to say; "Read the manual" or "search the forum" since that is how I learned the program... I'm not a brain surgeon or a rocket scientist (if you look at my bank statement you would know this is true) so if I can do it anyone can.
So now I feel like I want (just me. Can't speak for anyone else) a small commitment from those who want help to at least try first before going for the easy answers.
Read ALL of the info that is available first. Everything. Read the help that comes with AS. Do the tutorials. Search the forums READ THE "BEGINNERS" TUTORIAL STICKY TOPIC IN THE TIPS AND TECHNIQUES SECTION. After that if you still have a specific question then you can poke the tired gurus and wake them up to answer questions.
p.s. To actually answer the original questions posted here would require pages and pages of instructions. All which are contained in the help. Pages and pages. That single question covers several sections of the help files and tutorials.
Done ranting. Guru needs a nap.
