"Shape Opera" is currently just a proof of concept demo for applying path animation to SVG shapes created in Inkscape. Inkscape is a free, open-source alternative to Adobe Illustrator, but no one knows when the Inkscape team is going to implement SVG animation authoring . . .
"Shape Opera" is a scripted web page (morpher-3.xhtml) which allows you to create morphing betwen two SVG shapes (initial and final) in an Inkscape document. It must be loaded into the Opera browser, along with the demo SVG file, a2.svg . . .
