!-Bone binding to Imported Images-!

Post by Dyson6 »

I've been playing around with anime studio and I noticed that when I move a vector layer around with an arm or something with bones that the bones move with the arm, but if I import a picture of an arm and place bones, then when I move the image layer, the bones don't follow the arm. Is there any way I can get the bones to stay with the imported image?

It only works in the other direction: move the bone, anything bound to it will follow.

the arm around it will bend and everything but when I try to move the layer around or the bones to a different postition the other doesn't follow it.

You need to explain very precisely. The arm around what will bend? What other doesn't follow? We're not psychic. Moving a vector layer will never move a bone. Now if you move the bone layer, it will move both the bones and any child vector layers.

Now if you use the manipulate bone tool on this vector layer then it will move the bone on the parent bone layer, if you are on frame zero. Also, translating bones on frame zero won't effect the points.

Sounds like you need to go through the tutorials. Choose 'Help...' from the help menu.
