audio track sites
does anyone know of any sites that offer finished audio with voices and sound effects to animate too?
In my experience the audio sites online only have snippets, and the problem can be (for myself, and talking to another guy at work who has put together a few shorts in flash) is that you chew up horrendous amounts of time sifting through sounds trying to find something workable which suits your needs.
There are soundtracking apps which I wouldn't have sprung for myself but made good use of as they had them here at work, namely Soundbooth which you can use to whip up a score, and Soundtrack Pro which is great for sound effects, ambient sound and so on.
If you're whipping up audio yourself for a short or even like a test snippet of animation I'd recommend getting your hands on the nest mic you can and recording it yourself.
If you just want to practice go to the 11 second club where they post dialogue grabs from movies and you can practice your animation chops.

sort of-but it does include x-sheets with sound breakdowns.

Try archive.org and ubu.net for old radio broadcasts. With some digging you'll be able to find gems of spoken word you could animate to. And the best part is that the old ones are in the public domain now.
(There's a german cartoonist and comedian named Loriot who successfully lifted a skit of an 1920 performer to animation. The combination of old cabaret-style comedy (with audience) and dead-pan animation is hilarious. Have a look here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQ4QGvqKqT8)
