without knowing anything about either of the models.
If you need 2 mics, the choice is clear. Otherwise, I like the Blue brand usb mics, never had a problem, but I'm not sure i would call it high quality. I would assume you need something XLR to go into some sort of other hardware. For something pro, I would not trust the computer. Then again I might be to pessimistic.

Wlan, before you buy that mic, you might want to read this thread:

http://www.gearslutz.com/board/remote-p ... ments.html.

I originally bought some cheap condenser mics, and was pretty unhappy with them. After I asked the experts over at gearslutz.com I ended up with some plain old Shure SM58's, and I am very happy with them. Some less expensive options are mentioned in the thread, so give it a look before you spend the money. These guys know what they're talking about.

Hope that helps!

Take a look (listen?) to the Rode. I'd avoid anything that says Samson on it. The mic isn't terrible, but it will break in time, just because of the wire they use (and other shoddy construction issues).

Otherwise, I'd go with the Blue. I don't like the sound of the AT's. SM58 is a performance mic, and would require additional hardware to get it into your computer (since both of the mics you listed are USB).

Really, what you want the mic for is important.

Two USB mics? You might want to check to see if you can even use two at the same time.

I have a Samson C01U usb and dm is right in a way, my daughter knocked over the mic stand and the fall resulted in busting the flimsy plastic mic holder that comes with it, although the mic still works. I'm happy with the performance but be careful with USB mics!!! If you don't have a good soundcard you will have latency issues not so important if you're not monitoring a live feed but still can be a PITA.

Cheers
