Mabye Save View Settings?

I just noticed that a file does not retain the View Settings.

For instance, I've been tweaking the StartupFile so that it is to my liking, which includes using the grid, no snapping, safe zones--but those don't get saved.

It is not a big deal, I could just save the file with a vector layer with these graphics and set the layer on multiply...in fact that is what I will do right now...

Also, after reading an inspiring post here, I created a semi-transparent vector shape that covers the space outside of my "active" image area. So I'll just add the graphics above to that layer...don't mind me, carry on.
