Ok, so I just upgraded to Debut version 6. I had really enjoyed and appreciated version 5, and was impressed with it's features, especially for it's price. I was disappointed to find that when I opened the new program the timeline had changed, but after reading some posts I saw that others claimed it was for the better.
I watched a tutorial (Verns) where when a bone or object was moved and a new channel would appear to show the keyframes for that object. This does not occur for me. Is this an error? Or does the debut version not feature it, making 6 a downgrade from 5?
Maybe I'm overlooking something obvious, but I can't animate with one only one channel, it's extremely tedious. Help?
Get New Channels to Show in Debut 6?

In version 6 there is a new feature in the preferences called "Consolidate Timeline Channels". In Debut this is on by default. It causes all of the animated channels to display as one single channel. Open up the preferences and uncheck this box. now the channels are displayed as individual channels.
In AS pro this preference is off by default.

get channels to show up in the timeline
How do I get channels to show up in the timeline? This is for the full Anime Studio Pro 6 (not demo or Debut).
Specifically, opacity and blur.
For example. Suppose, at frame 0, the opacity is at 100%. But I'd like the image to fade out starting at frame 10 (opacity 100%) to frame 20 (opacity 0%). In Anime Studio Pro 5, you could just right-click to add a keyframe on the opacity channel at frame 10 and then another one at frame 20. Now I can't seem to add an opacity keyframe at all (unless I'm CHANGING the opacity at that keyframe. )
Someone help -- this is driving me insane!
Or is there some general way to just show whichever channels I want?
