How do you make new scenes?

Post by dreww »

I have anime studio debut 6, and I want to like show one character facing the screen, talking, and then switch to another one facing the screen talking, how do i do that?

i did this thing where I just pulled them out of the camera, but that was a pain so how to i like switch screens or something?

Start a seperate anime studio file for each shot, render them out and compile in a video editing app.

The method suggested by madrobot is preferred, but see the technique described in the Users Manual: "You can also use the sequencer to show or hide a layer at any time during the movie." (p. 288).

I've done this before for quick changing scenes, I would make a group folder called scene 1 put all the animation in it for that scene then make a new group folder call it scene 2 etc. and only have one visible.

I suppose you could even use a switch folder to select which scene group folders to show.
