I am working on a walk cycle. I got it in great shape and my legs are moving fine. I have 2 bones in the leg and 2 in the foot (bugs bunny leg). Anyway, after a few strides I have a set of stairs come on to the screen and I plan on having the legs go up the (4) stairs and then back down and continue walking.
By the way im new at the program.
1st, I break the cycle as soon as it needs to change for climbing stairs.
The only way I can see to do this is the nudge each bone attached to the cycle (4 bones in each leg and the bone I have in the body to control walking "bob") Or maybe I can add a key frame to each group? Anyway...
So now I go to start creating the key frame positions for the stair climb. and now my legs have 2 SETS OF BONES (bug?).
I go back to frame ZERO now and there are 2 sets of bones (in the exact same location as the original, but now of course I can alter legs as the bones work against each other).
Im pretty sure I didnt unknowingly duplicate them, especially on the 2 different leg layers.
If anyone has a clue let me know.
Thanks, Erik
