I can't make this interpolate

Post by super8mm »

I decided to make an interpolated switched head turn.

Checklist:
I didn't change the name of the copy.
I have the same amount of points since it's a duplicate
I checkboxed the Interpolated sub-layers

Anything else? Cause it's not interpolating.

Please help.

Your vector layers must be directly inside on the switch layer. On your anme file vector layers are inside groups, that broke the interpolation.

Thanks Selgin! It's very appreciated. :D

These undocumented eccentricities is why professionals want nothing to do with this software. I shouldn't have to resort to coming here explaining myself hoping someone knows what's going on. A well documented help manual will make the difference between people buying the software or leaving the trail frustrated and discouraged.

Interpolate sub-layers: If this box is checked Anime Studio
will do smooth transitions between the sub-layers as long as they’re
all vector layers and contain the same number of points and the file names are unchanged and the sub layers aren't in group folders.

Was that so hard?
