Generric karate guy take 2
First I tried rotoscoping and the results where not so good.

Then I tried a different approach where I would just look at the the scene and pose the character similarly. Also I used a common approach that is used in animation called "pose to pose." or "blocking." I try to go as far as I can down the timeline to find the next keyframe without adding any keyframes on like that until the end of the animation then you tween and add fine tuning. The results is the best animation I've done yet.
Combine my best rig with a good approach to animating and I'm quite proud of what I did and I only spent one day making it.

I would make better comments but I'm not so experienced to see in depth, So I say what appears evident. Please appreciate it equallysuper8mm wrote:Funny how that seems to be the most popular compliment given to animation.Uolter wrote:Wow! the second video is impressive, very smooth. Your rigging method is ingenious!
