fixing up a character model- iris movement

Post by rpc9943 »

I would really like some help with my vector character design - specifically using masks and eyelid switching concerning the iris. I would like to separate out the irises from the eye switches so that it can be independently moved. I fear this might be complex. If there is any insight on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

I posted an image near the bottom of this page that shows my technique, but it doesn't use eye lids. But my switches are on the eye white layer and the pupil (and iris if you have one) would be on its own layer. Hope the info posted there helps. :D If you have visible eye lids the masking set up would be different. There are some great tutorials for that in the forums.
