draw freehand anywhere in the timeline

It used to be possible in ASP5, but for some reason they killed it: the possibility to draw anywhere in the timeline. I want to be able to create a drawing, or a shape in an exact point in time, say frame 100, then go back and correct the animation in the frames before frame 100.
For some reason I can only create something in frame 0. PLEASE make it like it used to be in ASP5.

look at preferences, there is an option you must uncheck, something like "only draw on frame 0"
