Recent new customer, but new AS version soon?

Hi there,

I just read the news that there is going on something about a new AS version. I recently bought AS Pro 6 (EDU). What is if a newer version comes out soon: Will I have to buy the new version ("again"), if I want to have the latest version or am I able to do some cheaper upgrade?

My main annoyance: If I had known that a newer version will come out soon, I would have waited a bit more to buy AS. Does anybody understand my problem?

Thing is, SM has to make an announcment at some point, just so happen you bought AS just before they did.

As for the new version, it may as well be AS 7.0 or 6.3, no one knows yet.

7.0 might cost an upgrade, while 6.3 should not.

Wait to see what version is coming, if 7.0, then upgrade policy should be out for you to see.
