strange lines

Post by yoobah »

Hi everyone,

I recently noticed a strange little thing when I export my animation in swf.
Some lines appear in the animation window, whereas there is obviously no lines in my ASP window. I recently bought the very latest version of ASP (7). The problem still happens.
I tried to export an animation included in the ASP package content; in that case, no lines do appear. It happens only with my own drawings...Maybe I do something wrong when I draw and skin my characters...
Is there someone to help me understand?
Thanks to you all. ;)

It's happened to me too. You don't say, but I would guess that these are horizontal lines, often white, starting at some character and running to the edge of the screen?

The good news is that this problem can usually be fixed. The bad news is that this will involve examining each and every node on all your shapes, looking for rogue points. Often there will be two or more points stacked on top of each other. Sometimes it even involves breaking the line of a shape, and re-making that shapes colour/textures or whatever.

I know. It sucks. I tell myself it is character-forming...
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
