How do I make a mask?
I would like to make a mask that can go through IMAGE LAYERS all the way to the background. How would I do this?

Do you already know how to create masks in Anime Studio? If not read the help and documentation first for creating masks.
What you want to do is basic masking. Just put all the layers you want to mask in a group or bone layer, set that layers masking to "show all". Create a vector mask layer in that group/bone layer at the bottom of the other layers. In that layer's masking properties set it to "add to mask but keep inviisble".
You now have a hole punched through those layers. Make sure that "Masking" is checked in the "Display Quality" settings.
