I got AS7 today!

Post by funksmaname »

So far so good... i'm LOVING the new features - dunno what all you whinge-bags were whinging about! The new 'curve profile' is amazing! the 3D i've not yet played with, don't see myself using it much - but physics just made my jaw drop... that is going to come in handy! Simulation combined with point motion is really powerful! I will probably do a screencast when I get time...

I just hope AS8 isn't just around the corner now that I bought the upgrade! v7 sort of popped out of nowhere! lol

Still have yet to make the change, I've barely had a chance to play with AS 6! But I expect to upgrade eventually. If people post a lot of cool AS 7 specific files, it'll be hard to resist.

Yeah I just got the upgrade to 7 with the $68.00 fall sale offer.
Now that's the right price to upgrade.
In the demo the physics didn't work so I'm only getting to see it in action now.

The physics at least are looking great so far.

yeah, when i first saw the physics i was like WHOA!
I'm sure it will be handy for something... although the documentation on bone physics is somewhat lacking - i don't fully understand how they work yet unless you just want a skeleton to slump to the floor lol
