The ship moves a bit strange... It's like falling down form stairs...
And I can see the "Fotolia" logo on waves, be careful with copyrights when publish your videos.

Nice design, but a little *animation* of the waves (as opposed to just moving them about like theatre flats) would improve this a lot. IMHO.

thanks for the tips, i bought the real high def art and ill give it another go with several more layers, some image bending and more wave like movement.

and the ship does move a bit funky, it was just a bit of proof of concept.

In AS 7 there is a very easy way to animate a ship using the new follow path tool.

You can create a waving path and even animate it. It works great for a ship. Just make the layer of the ship to follow the path using Follow Path tool. Then activate "rotate for follow path"on ship layer proprieties to get an smooth rotation.
