Can i sell on this forum?(video tutorial)

Post by PARKER »

Hi

I just have a question for the moderators and the ones that run this forum, is it forbbiden to sell something here? of course i mean something related to the software.
I know some of you like my works like my background art and also my comic book coloring style so i was thinking in may be making a videotutorial about it but as it will be really HUGE i cant offer it for free, sorry guys, but it will be really cheap :) .

It will be a 20 hours videotutorial(HD, with voice) for only 30 dollars and will teach you to do almost everything, it actually contains about 80% of what i know to do with the software including of course background art, vector art and color.

I hope all you guys can get the tutorial, you wont regret it.
Thanks for reading and i hope i can share my knowledge with you all.

I suppose there is no problem, Parker. We all know you won't be spamming around
Maybe you should create a special page for your products and link it from here. An explicative thread and adding the link to your signature will be good.
There are many people asking for your tutorials, how we could say no?

Good look with your project :D

Great! I will be posting the video tutorial in the tips and techniques section with all the details inlcuding a link to a video where i explain better some of the things you would be learning with the tutorial and its content.
I have already posted some free videotutorials here on the forum(2 hours), so if you already know them you can have an idea of how the video tutorial is going to be.
I hope i can share my humble knowledge of the software with you all guys.
Thank you very much Selgin.

Parker, you already know I'm a fan of yours and I would be most interested in anything you have to offer.

I know I would learn a LOT from you!

Sounds like it will be a valuable resource. Don't suppose it will include your techniques for doing frame by frame style Anime using point animation (eg Rob 1), will it?

No doubt you all will find it valuable.
The animation test i made called Rob 1 is not anime, its cartoon, not sure why you confused it with anime but actually the tutorial will teach to draw almost every style, cartoon, anime, comic tv style, comic book style and also backgrounds.
Sorry im not teaching any animation at all in the tutorial but i could include the one you refer in future ones.

Sorry, my question didn't quite come out the way I intended. I understand that Rob 1 isn't Anime, but the animation techniques it demonstrated could easily be applied to Anime, which is my preferred style. But it sounds like this is more of a drawing tutorial, so I'll have to wait until you decide to do an animation tutorial.

I made it frame by frame using switch layer.
Yes anime is really nice i never forget classics like drangon ball z, super campeones and caballeros del zodiaco.
Sorry for writing the names in spanish i dont know their name sin english.

Actually im not really sure if im going to make an animation tutorial because i consider myself a nice vector and background artist but a beginner animator, i really am, so if i ever make a tutorial on animation probably could be in several months may be 1 year but i think you will find my tutorial usefull because before start animating your anime characters on AS you have too learn first how to draw them well so you will find a really nice complete and usefull video tutorial on how to draw anime actually its the longest, if i remember well its more than 2 hours, i vectorice and color a really hot cute girl.
Im sure if you get the videotutorial you wont regret it :D .

This anime girl could not be as hot as the comic one but shes still beatiful.
This is the one i will be teaching you how to vectorize and color:

OK, I'm in! I swear it's for learning to use Anime Studio's drawing tools better and not because of the cute Anime girl. OK maybe a bit because of that ;).

That's a great drawing style you have.
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
