Flash export Ignoring Project Dimensions

Post by paulo marcos Andrade »

Hi,

I found a strange bug. I am creating a banner with moho (yes, looks cool  ). When I export to avi, I get the right size (486x60). When I export to flash it uses a normal size (800x600, I think).

I suspect that's because I am using a image with that size in one layer, as the background of the flash.

I also would like to say that's is possible to create really cool banner like files with moho.

Thanks.

An exported SWF file should have the correct dimensions. An image layer will not affect the dimensions of the overall file. The thing about Flash is that, because of its vector nature, it is resizable, unlike QuickTime or AVI. So, if you just drop an SWF file into a browser window, it will fill the entire window, regardless of its size. When you embed an SWF file in an HTML page, be sure to specify the dimensions that you want it to appear.
