This is the first, therefore painfully simplistic, project from me in AS. (Click on the Elf Wars vid.... AS7).
I finished it a little over a month ago and I can already think of about 2 dozen things I would do differently just by using what I've learned from this Forum. Being able to pick the brains and observe the work from the wealth of talent on the Forum is by far the most useful tool I've found on the web. You guys all rock.

December Symphony/ Elf Wars bit.....
Moderators: Víctor Paredes, Belgarath, slowtiger
Thanks, I recorded the Jingle Bells/ Star Wars part with a bunch of the kids toys that were laying around the house.
Not listing Elo was an incredibly shameful oversight indeed. ELO's one of the most under-rated bands of all time. December Symphony is my Christmas tribute band and I don't think ELO ever did record a Christmas tune, but Wizzard did... that may be as close as I can get.
By the way I play ELO's version of Roll Over Beethoven in another band.... very tough to pull it off live.

Jeff's also one of my fave producers of all time. I like his stuff every bit as much as George Martin or Phil Spector... He's just a goldmine of talent.
I'm hoping to have about a 6 minute short cartoon to play at the shows while we're changing the stage over for an acoustic set. And then have a few shorter clips strewn throughout the show between songs.
I'll probably just post everything on Facebook after the show. Definitely be posting pieces on here looking for advice while it's getting put together.
