Import

Post by inadaze »

Hi,
I'd like to be able to draw an image of a character on paper and scan it into the computer so that I could add bones to it in Moho. I'd tried this and my image never imports. Is this an issue or is there some specific guide lines to follow?

Thanks
Jay

A few quick bits. First, check the Display Quality settings (button on the lower right hand of the main window) and make sure the Images box is checked. Also, if you are on a Mac that the filename has a file extension on it (.jpg, .png, etc).

What file format is your scanned image in?

my image is a .tiff but I tried to save it as a photoshop file also. If there is a preferred format, please let me know. Tonight I will try the display quality settings. That makes sense because whenever I imported an image, a broken image appeared in the frame.

Thanks

Ah, there's the problem - Moho can't import either of those formats. PNG is the preferred format for Moho. Other formats are listed in the manual, reference section, Import Formats.
