Use copied action

Post by sbtamu »

To use morph dials, does the action have to be made in the action time line or can I copy from the main time line to the action and then use morph dials? I keep getting this message ''there are no blendable morphs for this layer.''

Thanks

Hey Stephen, you can do either way but the action needs to be 1 frame to be a blend morph. So if you have a shape that translates from frame zero to frame 30 across the screen and then you copy it from the timeline to an action you need to shift the keyframes from frame 30 to frame 1 in the action. Now it will be a blendable morph. Does this make sense?

First there are Blend Morphs (part of AS pro) and Morph Dials (a add-on script).

Blend Morph can only have a '1' key in frame one in the Action. More than that one key, then the Blend Morph will not work. The action still will.
