Exporting to .SWF - problems with output

Post by satanictesticles »

Hello,

I have a character set up using .PNG files & bones to control him. To start with I have done a simple walk cycle. When I export/render this to a .MOV file, it plays perfectly and everything is OK.. but when I export to a .SWF file, not everything ends up in the output file.

For example, in the .SWF file I can see the character's head which follows the same movements as I animated in Moho, but you can't see the characters body/arms/legs etc.

Does anybody have any ideas as to what might cause this? It's not just with this one file. I have several basic characters and with any animation, the only thing that displays in the .SWF file is the head.

The layer is set out like this :

[BONES LAYER]
- left_arm
- head
- torso
- left_leg
- right_leg
- right_arm

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks

Image layers that are simply attached to bones will show up in the SWF, but if the layer is set to "Warp using Bones", and the layer does get warped by the bones it won't show up in the SWF. There's nothing comparable to this particular sort of image warping in Flash, so there's no way to export it.
