Hello forw,

are just the edges quivering, or is the whole shape moving?
Are you adding the new circle to a new layer, an existing empty layer, or the same layer as the first circle?

I'm just wondering if you've played with the settings for a layer, and you are now adding the new circle to an empty layer which has the animated noise setting.

The other thing I'd check: under the Settings button in the timeline, are all the channels showing (ticked/checked)? If you scroll down through all the channels in the timeline, are some keyframe markers hiding below the visible timeline area? Unless you have the timeline occupying most of the screen, you generally won't see all of the channels without scrolling down.

If that fails, is there anywhere you can upload your Moho file?

Regards, Myles.

One more thing to check: Click the Settings button in the timeline. In the dialog that appears, look at the top - the Default Interpolation menu. If you were experimenting and changed this to "Noisy", it will make everything jitter around all the time, even with no keyframes. The standard setting for this option is "Smooth" - make sure that's still what it's set to.

.
yes, i had checked that.

i found the reason: the setting was indeed "noisy" instead of smooth.
thanks !!!

can i ask one more thing? i guess i haven`t quite understood one superbasic thing: when i draw s.th. in frame "0"..what is the important step to make frame visible in the following frames ? ..when the tutorial says: "- draw a circle, render it, goto frame 36 and translate that shape" there is no visible frame in 36, only in frame 0.

thanks for helping!!

Hello forw,

When you say "no visible frame", do you mean the render is blank, the work space is blank (no construction curves), or that there are construction curves but no fill colours?

When you draw a circle (using the ellipse tool rather than manually drawing a shape point by point), are the Auto fill and Auto outline settings ticked/checked? Are you sure you drew the circle in frame 0? (try it again, just in case. I find it useful to turn on the "highlight frame 0" setting in the Moho preferences.)

If you go to frame 0 or 36 and click on (or in) the circle with the Select Shape tool (the icon looks like a white kidney bean under a black umbrella) does the fill in the Style panel show a checkerboard pattern?

Have you experimented with and changed the Current Layer Settings or Display Quality settings at the bottom of the main workspace?

Are the little eyes showing beside the current layer in the Layers panel?

Regards, Myles.
