I am always surprised at how little I know about drawing with vectors..
I want to make a drawing of a road.. and im trying to put the dashed thick black line down the middle of a road (I did manage to make the road with the rectangle tool and fill with grey)
how do i creat a thick single line in moho.. or better yet.. a dashed line?
really lame drawing question

Hello Dale,
Two ways that I can see immediately - there are probably more.
1. The old fashioned way - just draw a single line and use the Create Shape tool to give it a black (hmm, here in Australia it would usually be white) outline with the line width set appropriately in the outline settings.
To make it dashed, use the Draw;Split Curve script to increase the number of points and go along it with the Hide Edge tool clicking on each second line segment.
2. Draw a simple line and apply a brush - there's even a dashed, medium-thickish line that might be suitable, or that might give you a starting point for creating your own brush. You might want to play with the brush spacing, depending on the line width.
Regards, Myles.
