Last week I almost finished up the Moho tutorial, and everything was working great but now when I go back and try to fill in shapes I make with the "add point" button, I can only change the color of the outline. When I select the object and click "create shape" it only shows the outline as being selected. The red squares that should appear inside the object don't. I am able to fill in as many circles and squares as I want, but it just won't let me fill in any other shapes. I am going by exactly what the tutorial says to do and I am so incredibly frustrated because this is just such a simple thing. Could someone please help me?
Thanks
it won't let me fill shapes in anymore...

Greetings!
That's a typical result when two endpoints are only sitting on top of one another, and not "welded" together. Hit Enter to deselect all points, then go around your shape moving each individual point with the Translate Points tool (you can use Undo or Ctrl-Z to put the point back where it was). You'll probably find that one point is actually two ends just sitting on top of each other, not joined together.
Is "Auto-weld" still ticked at the top of the screen when you are creating shapes? (For the Add Points tool it is auto-weld, for the freehand tool it is "Auto close").
If not, as you drag the last point/end over the first point in a shape, tap the spacebar to weld the two points together.
