i want to know how long i can make a animation in anime studios 8 pro i don't care how long i can make it really but its nice to know! so i can plan it out then combine it in windows movie maker.

The manual says "unlimited" ... but IMO the decision on how long to make an AS segment is down to file sizes / render times / scene changes. Personally, I plan to keep to a max of around 10 ish seconds - I do sometimes go longer than that but it's rare... take a look at viewtopic.php?p=117170 (which talks about Debut rather than Pro - but the "scene duration" principle is the same.)
