problem with bone keyframes !! helP!

Post by bald_dude »

ok i have a problem (this prolem is already discussed somewhere but i dont get it and also cant seem to find it again)

i have a made a human character

i set the bone keyframe to 1 and animate the leg to key frame 12
all goes well

i set the key frame to 48 and move only the hand
but it appears the hand starts moving from frame 1

i tried right clicking and adding keyframe at 12
sometimes it work the hand only moves from 12 but other times
key frames change positions and i get really PSD
can anyone explain to me how the bone keyframes really work ?
and how can i make the hand move only from frame 12 in simple english?!

sorry my communication is very poor and i cant seem to explain what i want to explain
hope u all get what i am trying to say.
moho is a good piece of software but sometimes it get so irritating!

and dont ask about the drawing and painting tools ! i am sorry to say its poor !
pressing the spacebar all the time is really lame tp fill something up

may be because i am used to using the old style fill tool in FLASH!(and other drawing porgrams)

but that really is not a problem i export all my art from flash

the bones are really irritating me.

sorry for me being so rude i am already having a bad day!

i lost a 256mb stick (RUST!)

and now i am only left with 128mb

If I understand your problem correctly, there are a couple of things you can do:

1. If you are at frame 12, insert a keyframe there for the hand *before* you move it at frame 48. Then, the movement will start at frame 12.

2. select keyframe 1, and right click on the keyframe there for the hand. click the "copy" button in the timeline. select keyframe 12, and select the "paste" button in the timeline. This will copy the contents of the keyframe from 1 to 11, and should do what you want.

Hope this helps,
