Move shape over or under another shape on same layer?
Back with AS 5 there used to be a tool that let you move shapes 'up' and 'down' on the same vector layer. In AS 9 that tool seems to be missing. So how do you change the stacking order of shapes on same layer?

you can't animate shape order .. but you can move shapes up and down (Draw/Raise Shape etc).
If you have the shapes stacked so that a lower shape is not visible, then select the top shape and then Ctrl-down-arrow tells Anime Studio to pick the next deeper shape in the layer ordering at the same point; and shift-up-arrow does a "Draw/Raise to front". (see the ASP9 tutorials manual p75). Hope that helps.

Synthsin created a very clever script that can store shape order information on the timeline - it's available on animatorsforum.com in the VIP section... (you have to make ~50 decent posts to gain access. ACCESS IS GIVEN MANUALLY, so just going and spamming the forum will not work and will probably mean you never get in
